A gambling platform will not allow you to just deposit money without betting on anything. That 0.001 BTC that you deposit on the casino will have to be rolled over first. Each casino/sportsbook has its own rules and rollover requirements. You will be asked to make a bet with those 0.001 BTC before it will become withdrawable.
The way I see it, you are left with two choices:
- You can deposit your own money the way you said, but it has to be rolled over.
- You make additional bets with the money won from the free bet until you reach the threshold for the minimum withdrawal.
