Some may fear that a government-issued cryptocurrency would eventually supplant Bitcoin. This is absurd. It merely substitutes a blockchain for the wire transfer of a fiat currency. It precludes a really free exchange of value between any two random locations on the planet without the intervention of a third party. A government-issued cryptocurrency will inherit all of the fiat currency's flaws. It will squander energy as a result of perpetual inflation and regulation.
What are your thoughts regarding this matter?
Would really be just like e-fiat nothingless and i dont see for it to be able to compete or able to eradicate bitcoin which is impossible because the support would really be just the same and would even more becomes bigger on more future years to come although its not an assurance but at least we do really see the big potential. Its not really that surprising with those government issued coins which arent totally cryptocurrency yet
they are centralized ones even though using up some blockchain doesnt basically includes out that they are not controllable which its really that opposite.
Bitcoin cant really be replaced as long it does have the demand then it would surely stay.
I firmly believe that Bitcoin will not be replaced by government-issued crypto, because long ago many projects were created to beat Bitcoin,
but all ended up failing. So this will apply to coins created by the government as well, which will not replace Bitcoin. Because government-issued
crypto as you say will be the same as fiat, which will be controlled by the government. That's what makes Bitcoin more popular and difficult to match,
because only Bitcoin until now has proven to be truly decentralized. After all, many countries have tried to stop Bitcoin in various ways, but Bitcoin
can't be stopped. Because while there is still a demand for Bitcoin, Bitcoin will always be there.
