What do you think is important for the success of the project: the presence of really good technology or development, or just strong marketing that will create hype around the project? I'm now following an interesting project called CheckDot.
I won't comment on CheckDot as there are already many similar newbie topics promoting them.
So what do you think is more important to a successful project?
this is what i find interesting, I think the two elements between promotion and technology should be the same in the fore.
I came across some old projects that I thought were very good, even in my opinion as a pioneer of technology in their field it actually sank and it seemed as if there was no increase in price (underpriced), even though they were continuously developing their projects and keep adding new features to keep their ecosystem growing..
which is very unfortunate, though they might be able to push their prices if they did better promotions with a wider range to be better known.
