I have watched that the HODL word is so much used in this forum. I have searched in almost the whole internet and didn't found anything about its meaning. So I registered exclusively to ask this:

HODL means HOLD it was an honest mistake from an English teacher who created a Thread "I AM HODLING" he was angry about his girlfriend going to a lesbian bar and Bitcoin price crashing and the fact that he is a bad trader all happening in one day.... so he gave us a good laugh and since then we use HODL, SODL, SHOTR as a slang
