Deja vu: The merchant is the party behind the gift card. It doesn't matter if you pay with bitcoin or not; you have to trust them you'll get the product you paid. It's not a third party, but there's always trust.Well in a slightly longer period of time this still happens. The rise from $30k to $60k for example, took only 3 months.
