So it was a temporary break just like I suspected. That's the thing when you depend on a third party software provider. Look at freebitco.in, the owner coded this website from nothing and he knows every part of it. Someone told me this long time ago:

"When you own a business you need to be able to fix everything there is. You need to be able to do whatever needs to be done."

This is like owning a restaurant. When the cleaner guy quits, you need to be able to clean the toilets because your chef won't do that crap. When your main chef gets sick, you need to be able to cook. When you are short on serving staff, you need to be able to serve. That's how it is like to own a business.

I guess it's okay to hire someone to build what you have in mind, but having an idea of the business and build it with yourself is much better as it will save you much money.

For this issue, I guess the software they're using is somewhat a subscription model and got a problem with the team of the software they're using since it mentioned "to terminate their contract" (speculations), but that is common problem in subscription model software in the long run.
What they need is to hire a developer to build their own software which I guess that's what they're going to do now on that 2-3 months of hiatus.

There are certain types of businesses that the owner needs to know everything to not depend on employees (third parties), in the case of a casino or exchange or even a website, it is highly recommended that the owner know program computer and be able to correct it when there is a problem, because if he doesn't know the code he will become a hostage to others, this is also the case in the restaurant or bank business. finally there are many businesses that the owner needs to know everything to not be dependent
