It must be killing bitcoin that it can't do NFTs. Eth is so much more capable in some respects. 
There are so many platforms like Solana, Near, Ethereum, Cardano etc. which are ready for NFT minting right now , so why to bother yourself by the current Bitcoin lack to do this. Nevertheless if you want this stuff to be based on Bitcoin the layer 2 solutions like Mintlayer can fill the gap in the nearest future but I don't think we need this. NFT hype will gona away soon.
