r3wt, I really, really do not understand how can you judge what is a shitclone coin and what is not after preparing such a coin?
There are some good ideas in this thread, but most of ideas are just too aggressive and unfair.
You MUST NOT destroy, but create if you want to fight scam and shitcloning. If you choose the destructive way (killing the coins) means you are ok with these methods. Rob somebody (just as an example) to do a "good" thing, so you agree that it's ok to rob so somebody will rob you for sure tomorrow.
Main reason for people to support shitcoins is greed. Miners aim to get max profit, they just don't care about how bad the coin is if there is a slightest chance to make profits.
I wish every person will just ask himself: who you are to judge the coins? Aren't you greedy too?
IMO the main vector to attack shitcoins (and greedy miners) must be an educational and informational posts where you will explain the situation with the coin (multiple posts by respected members in shitcoin thread).
Other good measure is to get a trusted mod that will delete shitclones threads and ban these newb "devs". Also it's important to limit the activity of users in Ann section (make new threads pre moderated or something like that).
