Question is why the colour is orange and I am most sure maybe not even Thomas know about it.

I believe , as I say , not a definitive answer , that it’s just the contrast. As you can see from the poor quality image I posted, the gold contrast is low, with the orange it’s a lot clearer and distinctive with the white .
Hopefully another member , can come up with a better answer OP - very intriguing question though
