Bitmart has lost $196 million in various cryptocurrencies in the latest centralized exchange (CEX) breach, which may be the most devastating hack to date.


Peckshield, a security analysis firm, first tweeted about the alleged breach on Saturday night.


The hacker has systematically used a decentralized exchange (DEX) aggregator 1inch (1INCH) to exchange stolen money for Ethereum (ETH), then Tornado Cash (TORN), making the stolen funds more difficult to track.
