10k$ is easy peasy, just do small bets on plinko and chase 1000x, you will get both 1000x and bronze VIP. The sports betting counts as 3x wager but it will take ages to rank up with pure sports betting. Just my 2 cents.
While 10,000$ can seem a small amount of money for you; for a lot of people this is a big amount (also for me), so I am also far away from reaching the bronze status yet. As you mention, the good thing on Stake is the 3x wager for sports betting and with some promotions (like double or triple winnings) it makes it really interesting than to bet on Stake.
