Waves one among the potential altcoin. This is an altcoin that is competing with ethereum in the beginning. With time there is no big progress. I remember the days when it was around $3. It has reached its ATH of $42 which is good, but considering similar blockchain platforms growth over years what it has achieved is very minimal. As said we can expect these projects to progress and holding is the right thing to be done by now.
In my opinion, WAVES is worth a lot more than just $42. It's a smart contract platform with cheap fees and blazing-fast speeds. The DEX works flawlessly with greater performance than its ETH-based counterparts. Liquidity pools on the Waves Exchange are the most rewarding, especially with the stablecoin pairs (USDN, USDC, USDT, etc.). The reason why WAVES hasn't gone to the moon by now is because people are focused on the big players on the market. ETH, BSC, and Solana have brought the attention of people in the mainstream world with their hype, leaving competing platforms like WAVES and Flow in the dust. At least, development is on-going for these underrated crypto projects. As long as there is a community backing them every step of the way, nothing else matters.
