Well,
The Animals of Farthing Wood isn't exactly new, but it's almost entirely unknown outside of Europe and
lists of fucked up children's cartoons. You know how children's books often have surprisingly large amounts of violence that is removed or otherwise censored for the cartoon adaptation? Well, this is not one of those, so when they say "parental guidance recommended", they're not kidding.
I'm all for weird books for my kids, such as "Go the F**k to Sleep", "You Have to F**king Eat" and "F**k, Now There Are Two of You", but stabbing little animals to death means they'll just have another way of keeping
me awake, so I'll have to pass this one.
