Because Bitcoin is still a relatively small market compared to what it could be, it doesn't take significant amounts of money to move the market price up or down, so the price of a bitcoin is still very volatile.
I am not disputing that bitcoin is still volatile, but the volatility is decreasing if comparing lowest and highest bitcoin price in 2012, 2016 and 2020 which are the years bitcoin halving yet occured.
Re: Summer dip?!, December price outcome? ---> JOIN and guess the price GO!Also people that decided to hold and never sell when the price of bitcoin was falling were later happy all because the price increase again and again and reach all-time-high as usual. Just that it can require time like months or few years. Holders never lose.
Exactly, at an early age, small investors used to hold Bitcoin, so they were always afraid of market dumps. When the correction started in the market, naturally they had to do panic selling because they were afraid of the volatility of Bitcoin and their faith in Bitcoin was relatively low.
But at the institutional level when everyone started adopting Bitcoin, everyone's confidence in Bitcoin increased literally and now the panic selling is very low.
Now, if correction has occurred in the market, investors are not panicking, but gradually increasing their investments, because no one wants to sell Bitcoin at a lower price, that's why the price gradually rises again.
