I am not disputing that bitcoin is still volatile, but the volatility is decreasing if comparing lowest and highest bitcoin price in 2012, 2016 and 2020 which are the years bitcoin halving yet occured.
I'll be honest I'm not up to date on the current trends, and stocks which make others money, simply because I don't really believe in any of the capitalistic companies out there looking to turn a profit. However, surely Bitcoin has to be one of the most volatile investments that you could possibly make? Its one of the reasons that speculative investing as become a dominant use for Bitcoin. Investors looking to buy in, and sell at a higher price, and simply get out before being hurt which in turn actually helps us long term holders make a little bit more Bitcoin due to the frequent changes.
While Bitcoin's volatility might be decreasing in recent years, it still probably remains the most volatile investment or at least one of. However, it definitely is the most volatile currency out there, and will likely remain that way for a long time. I'm purposely ignoring altcoins in this due to the fact that most aren't around long enough to be worth including in the data.
