Chinese sockpuppets at it again or what?

China is going to be the biggest economy of the world soon. Unfortunately, all the centuries of dynasty rule, warfare and now the CCP glorification on huge screens has turned them into the exact kind of nation that you wouldn't want to have the most power with.

USA did fine through all these years of being the greatest power because of things like their splendid isolation as well as all the soft power they commanded by embracing stuff like human rights and freedom. Both of these are anti-thetical to the CCP. Now that they are bound to become the biggest economy, they would naturally want to control things like currency. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general are a big nuisance in their dreams of an all-powerful, all-controlling central planner/ currency controller. That is probably the reason they always want to ban bitcoin or just support ideas like CBDC.

Otherwise, seriously, what difference does a few trillion dollars of people's P2P money make to the powers that be?
