Interesting law that Purple Paint Law. I'd expect laws like this to be relics from the 1800s, so it's surprising to read the latest implementation was just 10 years ago.
As a non-American hiker, I understand gates, wires and "no trespassing" signs. But until yesterday, I would not have guessed purple poles hundreds of meters apart mean "dare and we shoot"! Any other laws I need to know about if I ever visit Texas?
