Hello friends. Do not be intimidated by the title

But I am struck by the idea of the utopian nature of the concept of decentralization in modern cryptocurrency.
Do you think cryptocurrency is truly "decentralized" at the moment?
If we turn to history, then bitcoin was originally conceived as absolutely financial freedom and a decentralized payment system, which at the moment do not correspond to the original ideas at all.
(those who disagree can googling mining pools and early coin holders)
I also think that we don't have real decentralization in a lot of crypto projects even though they claim to be decentral. I mean basically every projects allocates a high percentage of the maximum token supply for it's team members. I mean this is not unfair as they are doing all they work and probably also risking their own money for it but still if they already own 15% of the maximum token supply then there is already a lot of voting power in those few hands, if a such a mechanic of governance even exists. That is also true for big investors and influencers, that can usually buy the tokens earlier and to a way lower price and therefore have very high allocations. True decentralization is very hard to achieve.
