Milwaukee Bucks still managed to win in the absence of Giannis. Their opponent, Rockets, was at the last place of its conference though but still it was a nice win by 126-106. J. Holiday continued to take responsibility in this game also and made a nice double-double having 24 pts and 10 reb. This time, Middleton also helped him having 23 pts. They are at the 3rd place in their conference now.
I'm not surprised with that, they played against the Rockets who are not a good team, or I should say at the bottom of the standing while the Bucks are in a playoff standing. Bucks are a team that does not only rely on Giannis, they have improved already that's why they were successful, if you see their series against the Hawks, they missed Giannis in few games but they still manage to win.
I mean surely Bucks is a good team even without giannis and rockets is a bottom team but sometimes losing your superstar could mean the worst for a team. Remember each time Cavs lost Lebron, first to Miami and then to Lakers, they became a very terrible team, it took a while for them to be like this, the first year Lebron left for lakers Cavs looked like a g-league team to be honest.
So, losing your superstar could have bad results and it is not really understatment to say that Bucks is good even without Giannis, even if he missed all games, even if he was traded to another team. They wouldn't be a championship level team, but easily be a playoff level team without him as well. That is not an easy thing, and you put that team against a team that is clearly tanking and you have yourself an easy matchup for sure, there is no denying that at all.
