Well, it depends on how you look at it ig? For the victim it might seem to be a big case, after all, they are trying to recover from their gambling addiction tendencies, anything related to gambling could be seen as very sensitive to them and could lead to a lot of repercussions while for the average joe, it might just seem like it's nothing. I'm more on the side that OP is making this a bigger issue than it should be, could've simply, as I recommended, turned off email subscriptions and whatnot. Now if he did, and he still got sent gambling-related stuff, then THAT'S the time it would become a really big issue.

We have our own interpretation of OP's shared experience for us regarding his journey of combatting his addiction to gambling. Actually, I didn't have any thought about OP's concern other than he was trying to get rid off of his addiction and I do understand that for a person who is moving on and treating himself from gambling receiving emails about promotional and bonus emails will go to challenge his resistance on gambling again, it will be challenging for him.
