Do you know why BTC costs so much now? Because it is literally the first cryptocurrency. So just like BTC, YAY Games are pioneers in a brand new sphere and I guess you understand that it’s a great opportunity to lead the market.
You are right that exactly pioneers become successful usually. Nevertheless, there are a lot of games and the first one that was really successful was Axie Infinity and like no currency has surpassed Bitcoin yet, no game is able to surpass axie according to your logic. But actually, I think that if the project doesn't develop, people will abandon it then as well no matter if it is Bitcoin or something else.
