Can't really comment professionally on this, neither an economist nor an influencer (heh) but I always did feel that moves like these could have been more transparent and informed (aren't those the ideals Bitcoin was supposed to be built on?).

Still can't help but remember the platform he chose to announce it (Miami conference) and the crowd associated (influencers).

I mean hey, all great, I'm pro El Salvador and Bitcoin.

But would be cool if we saw, months on, El Salvadorains here on the forum, for example, learning and advocating for themselves, or even showing us this free Bitcoin they should be getting from Bukele's government.

I can be optimist, right?
