Is SafeNetwork the "web3" that everybody is talking about today?
Most likely .. I've not paid attention to the semantics but everything I've seen suggests it's just another box people are putting their clutter to help align imagination for what comes next.. and a lot of that about empowering the user.
There's a thread on the forum which Mark posted a comment to as:
https://safenetforum.org/t/web3-bitcoin-dweb-wars-and-their-relationship-to-safe-network/36295Safe Network should come out of this pretty well IMO, because it shows by far the most ‘pure’ intent (see the
fundamentals of Safe Network which have been true for 15 years), least centralised in ownership, control, governance and intention, and fingers crossed the most robust and capable decentralised tech, which is applicable to all the areas people are arguing over.
and I'd expect they can answer more specific question
but take a look at the fundamentals and check against what you've seen of web3:
https://safenetforum.org/t/safe-network-fundamentals-context/25352Did anyone ever make use of web2.0?.. likely web3 is the same - useful in the absence of better terminology that is specific to utility.. and Safe Network of course being centred on privacy; security; and freedom will have utility in spades.. and not just the sum of those three interests but the intermix of them will be powerful.
