The atmosphere of this forum is not much different from the real world where you can interact with other people even though they are not people you know. This forum is a repository of knowledge about crypto and everything related to it and you need to learn if you want to increase your knowledge.
This is true with the family it is serving the role of extended family and everybody talking like brothers here. You can ask questions and you get good answers. As a newbie you don't invest in what you don't know to avoid regret so you can always ask questions. You are welcome onboard
Usually people find it relatively difficult to earn merit that serve to increase rank up, but not so with you because currently you have 4. So continue to enjoy your time on the forum and make this forum a fun place to be.
I think that the knowledge about cryptocurrency is what is needed first before merit begins. He is lucky to get some encouragement in merit already but adequate knowledge and skill will help grow for him
