It's not. From what I've seen 1000 is the standard for the most recent increase some sources had. I'm stuck at 850 per month, which is already quite a challenge to get spend.
Are there some merits sources who... or do we have a situation where a merit source will stumble on a good post, after meriting the post, the merit source would be tempted to visit the user's post history in search of more quality posts to handout more merits.
I sometimes do that when someone is close to the next rank (if I think they deserve it).
