What should you do if your country bans Bitcoin and you want to keep it safe?
Isn't it possible to safely keep your Bitcoin in a cold wallet and then safely access it on the blockchain in a third nation where it's legal in the event that other countries, such as China and Egypt, try
to outlaw the cryptocurrency? Is it possible that something as simple as a cold wallet is insufficient protection?
Just don't keep your bitcoins in any centralized exchanges like Coinbase, Binance Etc. Always use a hardware wallet to access your bitcoin. That should do the trick. Countries can ban bitcoin on papers but it is extremely difficult to enforce. So you can use your hardware wallet to access your bitcoins if you go abroad. That's the simplest solution. But I wouldn't advise you to continue holding your bitcoin if your government bans it because no one really wants to commit a felony at the end of the day. But if you really want to to that, a hardware wallet will do perfectly fine. Centralized exchanges can be blocked by the government, but it is impossible to ban your access to the blockchain. So you should be good!
