It's an interesting concept, but why burn the physical thing?
Wouldn't it be better to just ship it to the prospective owner and have the NFT as a certificate of authenticity so that there is a bit more utility for the art that the person purchases?
Obviously you know your business the best, but this is just my suggestion.
I have art that has not been posted as NFT, I could sell them with a physical original copy included. But, it's very difficult to export paintings from my country. I would need to get a certification and an export permit for each painting.
This is what I love about NFT technology, it blurs the boundaries between countries. I have long wanted to sell my paintings to the West and Europe, only now I can do this without any obstacles such as mentioned above .
