(32k nodes, but multiple nodes owned by same people EG LG-BIG has over 40 nodes alone)
Number of nodes =/= number of users. It is not mandatory for nodes to advertise themselves publicly. Mobile wallets usually run either eclair or LND and they are not included in any metrics.
