I can't say for sure if there will be a new bull run or crypto-winter. Personally I think that there will be a bear market, but actually, I see that there will be new trends and mass adoption will be still strong so maybe it will not be so tough like it was after 2017 bull market. I think that projects that are connected with security and layer 2 will still be popular anyway.
I don't wanna remind the year 2017 ,this was the loosing time of crypto from my wallet ,i was getting panicked and sold my valuable asset .However we are still on a good position of the market .It still holding the positive momentum .The trend and mass adoption still continue and getting it more stronger as you mentioned it .However i am still believing that we can recover soon and will get a strong positive trend as we all are expecting it .We all know crypto market always survive the last month and the new year time of the year so we need to be more patience and wait for the bull run.
At least you've learned something and it's important for us to not using our valuable real assets that already we owned to invest in crypto because we can not place too much expectation for crypto investment because it could gone anytime because there are no pysical form of this investment. So we have to be ready for any kind of condition that will come this year. Last year was too good for crypto, we reached all time high 2 times and i think we have to ready for worst condition in the future.
