'The dollar is no longer relevant; Bitcoin is the currency of the future,' argues President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador.
That's overstating and doesn't make much sense, if you follow a present term with a futuristic one. Bitcoin could be the future of the financial system, but a the moment it is not and the USD is the most relevant currency.

President Nayib Bukele is just looking for popularity with statements like these, trying to keep El Salvador on the news with their Bitcoin investment.

I do agree that people in crypto communtiy get over excited about bitcoin. Its popular no doubt but its still far from becoming a fundamental technology. There are still major portion of this world that are not using bitcoin. We still need USD for our daily living. I too have no idea why El Salvador is making such moves.

Currently there are many examples of good economies and one of those economies is that of BTC, BTC has been presented as the best economy for much, if not, to say so those people from El Salvador who have widely taken advantage of the benefits they have been given the government to them. On the other hand, I have also heard the voice of some politicians in Venezuela who want to implement BTC as a method of obtaining credits, this is something very beautiful since in Venezuela despite the situation there are people who handle large amounts of money and there are businessmen who still believe in the country.
