Yes, if you can hold it for the medium term, it is one of the best coins among the market's top altcoins. There are lots of reasons why. One of them is the loyal community. Yes, the polkadot community is so loyal, and we know it if we see dot aution. Not only that, but dothas a huge number of fans like Cardano, which will help to push the price up. So we can say "yes, it has a future and in the future its price will go up definitely." Still, if you want to invest, I suggest doing research on your own to find out which will be better for you.
I would not say that it is by far the best one, but it is certainly a good one. I believe that we are talking about a good decent mid level coin here. By mid level, I do not mean like it is 1000th best coin, since we have 10k+ of them, I just mean that on the scale of "bad-middle-good", I would put this in the middle.
There are of course very little good coins for me, maximum of 20 coins could be good right now if you ask me, all others are either middle or bad. Obviously thousands are bad, but the middle ones are like 50 of them around at least, so between 20 good and 50 middle there are like 70 coins total I would invest ever. So this means Dot is in there, and that's good, I would definitely put it in my favorite top 30-40 right now. I am saying this because I do not want people to think that I am bashing something I dislike, I like it, I still do not think that it is a "top coin" right now.
