Oh really now then I had no idea at all, but the main big prize is still $200? That's never changed in the ads. I guess then it's 4 times more rolls than I said before you can make a decent w/d but I don't know, 1 satoshi per hour is still a hell lot more than what those PTC sites used to pay out years ago (I know cause I actually tried, hehe).
I agree it's no longer a faucet but I still feel like freerolls are still the primary pull here. At least I even can speak for myself (though of course I have the highest bonus).
Yeah, I think that only first tier rewards is affected. They still can get rewards worth $0.02-$200.
Not necessarily. I know some people who were not familiar with Bitcoin (or cryptocurrencies in general) before they discovered faucet sites like Freebitco.in. Most of them had migrated from PTC sites looking for better earnings online. I'm sure there are people like that among the members of this forum. Therefore, I believe Freebitco.in is still fulfilling one of its original goals, that is to promote BTC and cryptocurrencies to a wider audience.
That's basically my story. I joined Freebitco.in without knowing almost anything about Bitcoin, I had to learn how to create wallet first. And yeah, I moved to faucets from PTC websites.
