No, that way of USA formation is antiquated and the only reason most of the companies still offer these kinds of packages is so they can make the process seem more complicated then it is to justify charging you more for a fairly simple process. In the worst case scenario from start to finish the process will take no longer then 10 business days. No documents would be needed from you to form the company and only 3 or 4 documents would be required to open the bank accounts. Of those 4 documents, three would be obtained or generated by us or the state during the filing process. We'd only need one document sent by you to complete the entire process and we would not need that until your company was completely formed and we'd already sent over your approved company articles from the state and EIN SS-4 from the IRS. Bank account opening would take between 3 and 5 days.

As far as staying anonymous, the effectiveness of the corporate veil is more dependent on the filing company/person understanding the solutions the client needs then it is on the state filing or reporting process. In terms of the state, the filing and reporting processes are no different for a company who's directors or members want to retain a layer of anonymity then it is for a company who's owners and directors want to be public facing and in the spotlight.
