I had watch a youtube video just days ago and it shows there that if you just bought the top 10 coins in 2017 and held it until now, you're still in profit even though there is a huge loss in 2018 but that is if you really are holding until now.
That shows that dollar cost averaging will give you profits in the long run than giving you losses but there is an exception with that. Just buy Bitcoin and Ethereum. Do dollar cost averaging with these 2 coins and for sure it will give you profits in the long run and it really is. Just see the previous chart of the 2 coins. As for me, I'm just dollar cost averaging. Still buying Bitcoin and a bit of Ethereum monthly.
