At least this market is open 24/7, unlike the traditional market that would open for a certain period of time and has a closing time. I guess that's the first thing that I'm seeing with it.

The markets being open 24/7 is a good thing, but it isn't anything that good. It's the fact that we can actually transfer assets without using centralized platforms like banks/exchanges/PayPal/etc. Centralized exchanges are only a thing that's not really necessary, but people use it anyway just because it's far more convenient to use than doing stuff peer-to-peer.
Yup, volumes in decentralized exchanges are also good but people prefer to use and stay with the centralized exchanges since everyone is used to them. I hope that P2P would be the bigger thing in the future.

But these exchanges are not Bitcoin. They don't represent Bitcoin.
Nor is the group of people or experts that are claiming that they should represent bitcoin itself or the entire bitcoin community. It's always misled by these statements when it comes to the market.
