The primary reason I enjoy playing at Roobet is because it has proven to be a good and honest casino. However, I was initially drawn to it for the anonymity it offered its players back then. Then came KYC. I found the introduction of the KYC to be a bump on the road that I had to deal with in order to continue using the platform. Fortunately, the Level 1 KYC only requires basic personal information. Had that not been the case, I would have had to "suffer" at some other online casino.

I would say that them being a good casino is still a valid point even after they started to ask KYC, that has nothing to do with the part where they are taking KYC from the customers, I have to say that KYC just made it a little bit more open to alternatives. I mean surely there are other places where KYC is not asked, and people started to ask "should I pick this kycless place, or roobet?" and that is the problem they started to face after they opened this whole thing up.
In any other situation, I would say it was a wrong move but they are trying to be as legit as possible and be available in as many nations as possible which requires KYC to be asked, that is why I believe that there is nothing to be done after this point, it's done and they are not going back on that. So, we just have to accept that either we will give our KYC and play here, or we just find another kycless place to play.
