Look, I confess the Lakers are surprising me in this season. I would never have imagined that team with that roster would be having such a simple and weak regular season.
I confess that I created a lot of expectations with the Lakers this season, but i don't know...
I know that LAL got an interesting winning streak, but I don't know, if the team doesn't "wake up" and have a chemistry between the players from now on, they will hardly be able to advance in the playoffs.
I think many of us including me are expecting too much with the Lakers because at the start of the season, they are a great team just by looking at their roster. We expected too much at that time that we already foresee that the teams that will match up in the NBA Finals are the Lakers and the Nets. It seems like our expectation is just too much for them that is why we are disappointed with how they are playing right now.
Their new starting 5 seems working and its better than their old starting 5. Small ball with Lebron at the Center position is better for them. Fast pace game and a bunch of shooters that can shoot threes though they are not good defensively. Right now, I'm not expecting too much with them anymore and I think there are some who are doing the same. Lets just wait if they will enter the playoffs which it seems they are but at the bottom (probably 6-8). Well at least they are above 500 right now
