1. Don't stake on coinbase, use binance if centralised platform is your thing, I trust binance exchange more

2. To make reasonable gains from staking you need bigger bag of ETH, just saying this because staking reward is always smaller and those with bigger bag of ETH made more, the higher the quantities of the coin the better
