After massi leaving, Barcelona team has lost their identity as a Favourite team of la Liga. Even they lost in their homeground with a law level team. Today Real Madrid of course favourite team in all conditions. Though Barcelona gets home advantage but they can't use it. They have no real scorer. They need neymer or Mbappe or more effective striker. Their defence also weak.
The Super Cup semi-final match saw El Clásico match but unfortunately, Barcelona currently do not have the ability to win. We know the current condition of the two teams which even though this is an El Clásico match but I think the tension will not be so hot, because now both are different like a top team against a mediocre team. Of course, Madrid has a big chance to win, although Xavi understands very well how the Barcelona squad should play but with a young squad like this Xavi will not be easy to form a good team.
Actually I expected El Clasico to happen in the final, but it turns out that the two teams have to meet in the semifinals, apart from the title El Classico, I think the match between Barcelona and Real Madrid is like the final that happen too earlier in the Spanish Super Cup this season. Now real madrid are definitely more favorites because of barcelona declining performance this season, but even so I think el classico is still el classico which has always presented fierce matches so far, even though barcelona condition is deteriorating now but I think they will still give their best to destroy Madrid, because so far El Classico is not only always a match but often decorated with prestige and also risking the pride of who is the best club in Spain.
