Well, I am not sure about how they operate their social media strategy but without doubt they have tried to use their signature campaign in the forum to create division and to try to drown out voices that expose or question their scams.

You are not the first and will definitely not be the last, the 1xbit scammers regularly use their terms and service to selectively scam victims. Until that website is closed down by the law enforcement agencies the 1xbit scammers will continue to scam.

Hey guys, seems I've also been scammed by 1xbit with my account 372494987.

After contacting the Security team by email, they decided to 'stop collaborating with me' a.k.a closing my account and they're not letting me withdraw my money. They just sent this generic email to me (& to anyone I see):

security@1x-bit.com
Good Day. We want to inform you, that our company decided to stop any collaboration with you (closing your account).
The decision was made after a careful investigation of the situation by our security service. The decision is based on a violation of the Terms and Conditions.

If you send follow-up emails or ask about withdrawing your funds, they just ignore you or reply with the same:

Dear user, all consulting on the matter of your request was provided earlier in this mail thread.

I talked with some influencers in CryptoTwitter to unmask these guys, they're starting to do some investigation and collecting evidence (same with the other website with similar name they also have, both are based in Curacao it seems).

I have to tell, they have a pretty strong marketing campaign, ads, tagging threads as scams, that 'positive review paid' thread, users defending them, the web app / mobile app looks really good, they must have done a wonderful job outsourcing construcion of those apps with all the money they collected.
