Both clubs are playing in sub-optimal lineups due to the Africa Cup of Nations, but Liverpool being on the powerplay for so long can't score a goal is really weird. It seems to me that today many bettors have made a bet on BTTS or Liverpool's victory and now their chances are melting every minute. If the match ends in a goalless draw then Arsenal will have a great chance to decide the outcome in their favor at home.
This has been happening all season. Liverpool don't really deliver the much needed and expected result whenever the opposing team has a red card. It happened during the Liverpool vs Chelsea game (first meeting this season) and also against Man Utd when Liverpool ran riot. Goals stopped coming it when man Utd got a red card. I expected them to win against Arsenal though since they had it under control for majority of the time.
