I usually never bet quite a bit more than a dollar either. You make corresponding profits with such high multipliers only with a lot of luck. If I would bet much higher contributions (5$ or 10$) the profit with such high multipliers would be of course much higher, but I would also be relatively fast at a balance of 0.
Yeah we all have our own personal preferences and for me going above $1 is fine sometimes but if we say about winning big then it's complete luck because betting high will give more profits like these is not all guaranteed.Like you said these big wins are of $1-$2 bet only so they were lucky only.But still we should bet with what we can taking our limits into consideration.
