The thread you bumped is really old.
The question has been posed many times on this forum, but unfortunately the conclusion is always the same: I don't think there will ever be an official bitcointalk app. We may, however, live to see a new version of the forum software - EpochTalk, which will be more suited to mobile platforms with its responsive design.
