It's a strange occurrence but most of us tend to face this after heavily advertising. They somewhat "died" after joining; no clicks whatsoever.
Incentives don't always work if they only want quick and easy profit.
Most of the people join freebitco to earn free BTC. And the main marketing tool is ‘earn upto $200 from faucets every hour’. Many newbie crypto user join through the affiliate links with a hope of winning big amounts from faucets. Eventually they leave the site when they loss their interest by getting the lower tier prizes. Among my 38 referrals only one user is active now. I had only 4-5 referrals who used to play the multiply BTC game. But none of them are active now.
Exactly, they get attracted by the hopes to win 200$ every hour but most of the times you will only win 4-5 satoshis and after that they will stop. A couple of years ago, I managed to get 700 referrals on 1 GPT site. Only 10 remained active; most of them stopped either immediately or after a couple of days.
As the bitcoin price has increased over the last one year, the free satoshi reward has decreased too much. People see no intention to collect 5 satoshi every hour and hence their interest in faucets gets lower. I think that people should keep on trying the faucet because if one is regularly claiming faucet 10-12 times a day, it's very likely that he/she may also get lucky to win bigger prizes.
