During some years I have got many, but since last year it has been hard... Especially after people started spamming nonsense videos at crypto groups (I don't know why they do this, but completely killed the purpose of the groups) and after facebook algorithm started hidding bitcoin content.

About 9 of them are active right now and not very productive, hehe... But I can't complain, that is a nice achievement anyway and some of them were really effective in the past. I'm glad for that and I think they are too, because most comission I made returned to them.
I think that figure was still a lot considering those 9 are really into gambling, I think you can still own a piece of referral bonus on that. When I got into freebitco.in signature campaign I managed to attract users here in the forum and likely few outside too but even that I haven't managed a 3 figure referral just like yours. He has mentioned already that those 400+ referrals are not active ones, so they do not generate any revenue. No matter if you own 1000 dead referrals, they are just useless. I once tried to get referrals through facebook crypto related groups but later found that only the newbies in crypto are attracted to these faucets. Once they become experienced, they find other better ways to earn crypto.
