Despair I think. If you bought a whole 42 coin, so much despair.

I'd keep trying the expected password and try it with caps lock set and then a shift key stuck. If you remember what you think to be the password, you can find some tools that try to brute force based on what you think it should be.  Still not promising.

Because the wallet is based on bitcoin wallets, you can look for the rumor that you can use seckeys utility from Gavin Andresen at https://github.com/gavinandresen/bitcointools but I doubt it.  

If you could download a tool that would give access to your bitcoins without a password, then the password was useless.
