Lot of talk in the chat right now that a mod scammed a whale for buttload.
Perhaps I'm late but I checked ther chat, there is no talk about scammed whale by mod.
Scroll up the chat, there is a user namely Soloplayer who complain about not getting rain for long time.
This user also mention a name of mod "veleten" and complain something but I have no idea what is his main issue except about the rain.
Is this user the one you are referring to? Or there is different case?
Not getting rain for a long time is understandable, it is not a must that you should get rain. However, getting scammed is not really true at all. Yes, lightlord has been awol for a long time we know this. His very last message is from October, literally October! That's horrible, and I understand why people may feel like they are scammed.
I mean how many places do you know (not even just casinos, ALL business) where the owner is absent since October and the business is still seen as a decent place? That could be a "scam" of sorts. But, there is nothing like a moderator scamming people these days, that is probably beyond logical explanation.
You cant really blame out people on thinking off this way and imagine that since October of last year and didn't have any words at least or lets just say if he had leave out for some personal reason then
he would have at least that proxy or admin that will really give out some announcement in regards on the situation and wont be leaving out the users hanging.
This would really create that kind of impression which would give impact in overall reputation of this site.
