Is it? As long as I remember, I have never received any login notification through phone since I verified my phone number years ago. Or maybe I forget about it since I have lost my phone number long time ago.
I think after our conversation seen by Fortune Jack officials they will consider changing this rule. But I understand that it is not so easy as it may seem. Allowing to change phone number can put users of the site at additional risk, so something has to be invented to work as a substitute, to maintain the security on the same level.
Hopefully they will consider it. I have to agree it is not as simple as it says, but I'm sure there is a safe way to change phone number so it wont affect anything related to our account. Proving that we are the real owner of the account is more than enough as a requirement to change the phone number.
