I don't know about you but for me I will only hold coins for long term if we see a unforgiving bear market ( better buying opportunity ), I believe bear market hold the key to long term holding, I can't buy coins at high price sorry ( present market is buying at high price) and decide to hold for years, I will only buy now to sell later ( short term ).. stupid idea? Let's hear your thoughts
if you can buy in the bear market then that will be good if the coin/token is strong base on fundamental and technical analysis though it is not too much important for long term investment if its fundamental is enough good to invest in the project.
