This has already been noted a few times, but it bears repeating. You can export your private keys from the online wallet and import them into a client such as QT, Electrum, or Multibit and not have the problem anymore. There is really no reason not to have backups even if you do use the blockchain.info wallet. And mutliple "windows" to your account give you both a bit of redundancy and some peace of mind
